2024 CSA SHARES

Thank you for your interest in our 2024 CSA – shares are currently available for purchase! We offer the most flexible CSA option available. Continue reading to learn more, or sign up now!

Members Choice CSA: This season we will continue to offer our Members Choice CSA – you purchase farm store credit (with a 5% bonus), to be used on anything you’d like during the season – vegetables, fruit, flowers, eggs, and seedlings, in addition to any other local products we carry in our farm store including baked goods, meats, cheese, honey, preserves, and other pantry staples. While the farm continues to grow each year, demand continues to increase and shares will likely sell out. Please note: Farm store credits must be used during the 2024 season.

To sign up, use the button above, or read on for more information!

If you would like to pay with a check, use the discount code “CHECK” during the checkout process. This will make your total cost $0 and no credit card will be required. Checks can be mailed to 2117 Bristol Rd / Pemaquid, ME 04558.

If you would like to make a donation to our CSA cost-share program, please add that item to your cart separately. In our effort to alleviate food security issues in our community, we offer CSA shares at a discounted price to community members who could use a little bit of help. Their shares are no different than any other, except that some or all of the cost is shared. Last year the farm contributed over $3,500 to sliding-scale shares and your contributions help offset some of this cost – we greatly appreciate it. If you know of someone in the community who could use a bit of extra help, just have them send us an email. We will gladly help them, no questions asked.

CSA Benefits

There are plenty of other benefits to joining a local CSA program – besides supporting your local farmers, you’re purchasing the freshest, best tasting, and most nutrient dense food available. You’re also helping to break the cycle of shipping fruits and vegetables across the world, regardless of the season – a journey that begins by harvesting produce before fully ripening and results in less nutrition and flavor. By choosing locally grown food, you’re choosing to consume the highest quality ingredients and being environmentally responsible at the same time while supporting your local economy.

What to Expect

As soon as our farm store opens, you’re welcome to begin using your credit anytime. We generally expect to have a 20-week season, from June through October. In addition to the discount on credit, you’ll also receive weekly farm updates, seasonal recipe ideas and, when safely allowable, invitations to on-farm events.

We grow over 100 varieties of vegetables, fruit, and culinary herbs. Here’s an idea of what you might find from month to month.

June: broccoli, carrots, salad greens, kale, herbs, lettuce, radishes, scallions, swiss chard, turnips.
July: beans, beets, carrots, salad greens, kale, herbs, lettuce, peas, potatoes, scallions, summer squash, zucchini.
August: beans, beets, carrots, cucumbers, salad greens, kale, herbs, lettuce, onions, peppers, potatoes, scallions, summer squash, tomatoes(!!!), zucchini.
